PROGRAM OF GOD

Old Testament Period: God made an everlasting covenant with David through his son, Solomon. God established a covenant with Israel for 70 weeks (of years); of these, 69 weeks (of years) have been fulfilled.

Tribulation/Great Tribulation: God's covenanted 70th week (7 years) of dealings with Israel will resume culminating in the return of Jesus Christ.

The Millennium: Jesus Christ will fulfill the promise of a new covenant with Israel after He returns and builds the Temple.

Old Testament: King Solomon made a covenant of peace with Hiram, King of Tyre.

Church Age: False teachers claim that Daniel's 70th week has already been fulfilled or partially fulfilled (1st 3.5 years). A Roman prince, the Roman Catholic pope or his top diplomat, will confirm a covenant with Israel during the Tribulation period. 

Tribulation: The Roman prince will confirm a 70-week covenant with Israel, claiming that 3.5 years have already been fulfilled and only 3.5. years remain.

Great Tribulation: The Roman prince will remove the Temple sacrifice, claiming the end of Daniel's 70th week; the Antichrist will destroy the Roman prince, claim to be the messiah and do violence to God's covenant with Israel.

Bergoglio told the Jewish congregation during his visit that he went to the synagogue to examine his heart, 'like a pilgrim, together with you, my elder brothers.' After the 1994 AMIA bombing of a Jewish Community Center there that killed 85 people, Bergoglio was the first public figure to sign a petition condemning the attack and calling for justice. "One of the pope's first official actions was writing a letter to Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni, the Chief Rabbi of Rome, inviting him to the papal installation and sharing his hope of collaboration between the Catholic and Jewish communities. Present on the Catholic side were Cardinal Jorge Maria Mejia and Msgr. Rino Fisichella, and on the Jewish side, Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni, who replaced Rabbi Elio Toaff as Chief Rabbi of Rome...

In fact, Di Segni sees no difficulty in defining  Muslims as strict and even circumcised monotheists. But, as to Christians, he has some doubts....

VATICAN CITY (RNS) Pope Francis on Thursday (Sept. 5) told world leaders gathered in Russia for the G-20 summit that a military intervention in Syria would be 'futile,' urging them to focus instead on dialogue and reconciliation to bring peace to the war-torn country. The Argentine pontiff’s first major foray onto the global stage comes as the U.S. Congress prepares to vote on a military strike against Syria in response to a reported chemical weapons attack outside Damascus on Aug. 21.

“For Francis, just six months on the job, the Syria question will test his ability to summon the power of his global bully pulpit and could play a major role in shaping the global image of a man who’s drawn more attention for his down-to-earth pastoral appeal... Francis took the unusual step of penning a letter to world leaders ahead of a global day of fasting and prayer for peace in Syria that Catholics will observe on Saturday (Sept. 7)…

“To reinforce the pope’s peace effort, on Thursday the Vatican also briefed ambassadors from some 70 countries on its position on the Syrian conflict.

“The Vatican’s foreign minister, Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, explained that the church’s major concern is “stopping violence” and that any future peace plan must ensure that the rights of minorities, including Christians, are protected.

“In his letter to world leaders gathered in St. Petersburg, Francis wrote that so far “one-sided interests have prevailed and in fact hindered the search for a solution” to the Syrian conflict.

 “To the (G-20) leaders present, to each and every one, I make a heartfelt appeal for them to help find ways to overcome the conflicting positions and to lay aside the futile pursuit of a military solution,” he wrote.

 “The pope’s forceful stance on Syria marks the Holy See’s return as an actor on the international stage. Despite being the world’s smallest state, the Vatican has one of the oldest and largest diplomatic networks in the world. It enjoys the status of permanent observer at the United Nations…

“Like most of the Vatican’s appeals for peace in the 20th century – starting with Benedict XV’s call to end the “pointless slaughter” of World War I – John Paul’s effort ultimately was unsuccessful. But according to Pierre Morel, a former French ambassador to the Vatican who now heads the Pharos Observatory on religious pluralism in Paris, this doesn’t make Vatican diplomacy altogether impotent or irrelevant. Francis, on the other hand, seems intent on reversing that record with his recent appointment of Archbishop Pietro Parolin, a well-respected veteran diplomat, as Bertone’s successor.

“American journalist John Allen noted in a column today: A mini-boom of speculation on the Internet back in 2006 had Parolin in line for an even higher position. A note about the papal prophecies of the medieval Abbot Malachy posted on the Wikipedia website speculated that Parolin might be the Petrus Romanus, or “Peter the Roman”, whom Abbot Malachy predicts will be the last pope before the end of the world. (“Pietro” means “Peter” in Italian.) Whether Parolin will ever be elected pope, and whether that triggers the apocalypse, obviously remains to be seen, but already this particular Peter is now a very big deal.”

“A large part of the cardinals who voted for him is very worried and the curia . . . that organised his election and has accompanied him thus far, without ever disassociating itself from him, is cultivating the idea of a moral suasion to convince him to retire.

“It was the latter faction who now believed that the Pope should resign and who would like to replace him with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican secretary of state, Mr Socci said. He believed that the group numbered around a dozen, but the importance of the members counts more than their number. Daniel 9:26-27 reveals that a future prince, of the nationality of the Romans who destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D., will confirm a Covenant with many (Jews) when God resumes his dealings with national Israel, the 70th week of Daniel or Tribulation period.

 

...and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Daniel 11:21-22 support that the Antichrist is a person distinct from the Prince of the Covenant.

Pope Francis possesses many qualifications of the Roman Prince who will confirm the covenant with Israel for 7 years according to Daniel 9:26-27.  However, Pope Francis' Secretary of State, Archbishop Pietro Parolin, also of Italian parentage, is more qualified than Pope Francis to fulfill the role of the Roman "prince of the covenant" who will "strengthen the covenant with the many" in Israel.

2. We have long past taken care to discredit the priesthood of the Goyim, and thereby to ruin their mission on earth which in these days might still be a great hindrance to us.     PROGRAM OF SATAN

    The Roman prince (Pope) will commission a Millennial Temple or Tabernacle of David to be built at the beginning of the 7-year Tribulation period.  At mid-point of the 7 years, he shall cause the sacrifice to cease, due to the placement of the abomination of desolation (See: Abomination of Desolation 24.D) in the Holy Place.     The Synagogue of Satan, however, intends to build the Temple of Pallas/Pan at a sacred site in the territory of Dan (See: Mount Zion / Mount Sion 10.D).  Satan's Synagogue may attempt to build Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, however the earthquake foretold in Rev. 11:13 will justify abandonment of Mount Zion in Jerusalem in order to build the pagan temple at Mount Hermon in Dan. Although the Synagogue of Satan will claim that the temple is a "Christian" temple, and not a Jewish temple, they will dedicate the temple to Pallas, the Greek god/goddess sea-beast (Rev.13:1) from which the name 'Palestine' derives.     "The rule of government and the dispensing of justice were always connected with this pillar: it was at Mizpah (another spelling of mishpat) that Jacob erected his first pillar, and it was here that Saul was acclaimed the first king of Israel.

    "When these two spiritual pillars are in place with the Teacher of Righteousness (tsedeq) on the left hand of God and the earthly Davidic King (mishpat) on his right hand, the archway of Yahweh's rule will be in place with the keystone of 'shalom' locking everything together at its centre. This Jewish term is perhaps the most famous of all Hebrew words, understood the world over as a form of greeting that means 'peace', the state of not being at war; but needless to say it had a far more complex import for the Jews of the Bible. Old Testament: Jacob set up pillars as monuments to God during his sojourn on earth.

    PROGRAM OF SATAN

The "abomination of desolation" will be an obelisk - a phallic symbol used in Sun worship - that is set upon the altar in the Holy Place, thereby causing the sacrifice to come to an end.

Throughout Church history, the obelisk has been erected as a symbol of the triumph of Paganism over Christianity. There are other abominations that will be set up in the temple/tabernacle and also cause it to be desolated. These abominations will be presented to Israel as being part of the "restored Temple treasures", but in reality they are occult artifacts--possibly even some that were connected with the pagan Pan/Baal worship in Solomon's Temple  (Ezekiel 8) and at Dan/Mt. Hermon. Among these artifacts will be a pagan cornerstone, an omphalos that will be Satan's throne, the Stone of Destiny, which they will claim is Jacob's Pillar, obelisks, and other objects. It's difficult to say which of these will be placed upon the altar and become the "abomination of desolation" as all are abominations connected to the restored Pan/Baal phallic worship in Jerusalem.     "As far as their use as victory markers, an obelisk was erected to mark the battle of the River Boyne in Northern Ireland where Protestant William of Orange defeated Catholic King James II in 1690. There is no evidence that William II was a Mason but the obelisk was erected in the following century to celebrate the victory of Protestantism over Catholicism. The Masonic organization has always opposed the Roman Church while the Roman Pontiffs have known this and have forbidden their people to join the Masonic Order. In recent years, however, Masons have infiltrated the Vatican and there now seems to be some sort of unholy alliance. The largest stone obelisk in the United States is the 550 ft. tall Washington Monument purportedly to commemorate George Washington's birth place. There was a great scandal when it was erected because it was done so at public expense and the people of the time knew its real purpose was to commemorate Masonic victory over King George III and even victory over Christianity itself in 1776. The monument was completed in 1884. Various other victories, real and perceived, will be found to be marked by obelisks such as that at Bunker Hill in Charleston. The French Revolution was even more successful than the American and they had to have an even larger obelisk to celebrate their victory. There is a genuine obelisk stolen from Egypt to mark the victory of the Bastille in Paris and then there is the daddy of them all, the Eiffel Tower, just twice as tall as the Washington Monument and completed in time for the centenary celebrations in 1889.

    PROGRAM OF SATAN

Following the destruction of the Roman Church at mid-Tribulation, demons will be teaching their doctrines in monastic communities and other ascetic settings.  A counterfeit 144,000 will be presented to the world as monks of the Nazarene or Essene communities; these will be reported to have attained perfection and been deified. The counterfeit 144,000 will pose as members of the Order of Melchizedek who are androgynous and immortal. The Age of the Spirit will be ushered in by the counterfeit 144,000 monastics. The true 144,000 are the twelve tribes of Israel minus the Tribe of Dan and adds Joseph. (Rev. 7) The false 144,000 will be the Tribe of Dan.

"In the number given by the Bible for the antediluvian patriarchs...[t]en are mentioned in the Book of Genesis... The legends of the Iranian race commence with the reign of ten Peisdadien (Poseidon?) kings, 'men of the ancient law, who lived on pure Homa (water of life) and who preserved their sanctity'." - 635:27 (Chap. The Valentinians...regarded Seth as the first of the race of the perfect ones, the spiritual in opposition to the material (Cain) and Abel (the psychic)... "There were monks long before Christianity. Fifteen hundred years before Jesus came, there were monks in India. Most non-Christian religions have known some form of monastic life.

"The oldest monasticism, practised in Hinduism, was not unified in its expression. There were many anchorites: hermits living in the forests, ascetics wandering here and there begging their food. The former sometimes had their wives living with them in their hermitages, but they lived in chastity. The latter broke all connection with society and lived by begging. However there were some monasteries...

"In Buddhism monasticism represented a summit. Buddhism is essentially a monastic religion which, in its highest degree, can only be practised by monks. The Buddha thought of salvation as a liberation from suffering and the passions: one has to eliminate all desire in order to be reunited with the Absolute. Only monks can do this. There are then monks who seek this Absolute through meditation, and non-monks who acquire merits by enabling the monks to live...

"In Europe, the Mediterranean religions of antiquity had virgin priestesses: the Pythia of Delphi, the Roman vestal virgins, vowed to chastity at least for a time, but this was understand in a physical rather than a moral way. Among the Greek philosophers, there were also modes of life similar to that of monks. In the first half of the sixth century BC, Pythagoras founded a sort of community which one entered through different degrees of initiation. However there was, on the whole, no practice of sexual ascesis." - 817 ("Prehistory")

        CHURCH AGE

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. I Tim. 4:1-3

    "Athanasius divides Christians into three groups, according to whether they practice 'virginity', 'self-control', or 'the harmony of marriage'. The first seems to include both men and women who have renounced sexual activity altogether. "Antony of Egypt (251-356): ascetic Brother of the sun-god and founder of Eastern monasticism. Demons permeate his legend. He passed one of his sheepskin cloaks to Athanasius, spiritual head of desert hermits and Ethiopia, Bishop of Alexandria, father of Orthodoxy... Antony’s feast day, Jan.17, would become sacred to the Merovingians and their Sion Organization, which convents were historically convened Jan.17 in honor of Antony’s success at infiltrating the Christian world." - 550

"...Dagobert was abducted at the age of five and taken to a monastery near Dublin, where he was educated and later married a Celtic princess Matilde." - 482:328

"The Merovingian Franks (450-741) built monasteries as a means of infiltration... for Merovingian monasteries later became Benedictine/ Cistercians... St. Meltius [was] sent to evangelize England along with 40 monks of St. Andrews by Pope Gregory the Great, their founder... Gregory promoted Benedictine monasticism. [H]is feast day is the day he became pope, September 3. This was accomplished by the infiltration of the Church, for Gregory was part of that infiltration. Sept. 3 became a day of victory for the Red Movement when he was installed as their pope, for Gregory marks the history of the papacy in that he was the very first 'MONK' to become a pope." - 550

"The rule of St. Columbanus and of Benedict in Europe were developed into major monastic communities by the Merovingians who provided not only the monasteries themselves, but charters granting them complete exemption from episcopal and secular intervention, making them fully and completely autonomous. Merovingians of ancient Egypt had thus assured the continuity of Egyptian error. Gibbons hits the nail on the head when he writes, 'Swarms of monks arose from the Nile, overspread and darkened the Christian world'..." - 550

    "Like most Merovingian monasteries Glastonbury became a Benedictine Monastery. And the purpose of Merovingian monasteries was 'infiltration' based on the belief that the best way to crush the Church was from 'within.' According to Butler, the world’s authority on saints, 'Neither Bede, Gildas, Nennius, Geoffrey of Monmouth, the authentic William of Malmesbury, nor any other chronicler for eleven hundred years, do we find any trace of the supposed coming of Joseph of Arimathea to Glastonbury.' (Butler’s Lives of the Saints, Vol 1, p. 618 ). Butler states that a book which chronicles the supposed coming of Joseph to Glastonbury was penned by another hand a century later and prefixed to Malmesbury’s 'De Antiquitate Glastonienses Ecclesiae.' There is no doubt in my mind that this would have been the work of the Cistercians, founded by Benedictine monks as 'the ratchet' for the structural organization of Sion. Joseph of Arimathea is alone associated with the Grail legend and the Quest of the Grail legends, which per Colliers Encyclopedia, are dominated by the mystical symbolism of Cistercians, illustrations of which give triangular geometry and double-headed trees...

    "More than any heretical Merovingian organizations, the Cistercians personified the banality of evil at its finest. The name Cistercian and of their first monastery, Citeaux derive from Cistus, of the Cistaceae or Rockrose family resembling the wild rose and cultivated in the Mediterranean. The Myrrh with which Mary Magdalene anointed the Body of Jesus also comes from the Cistus family. And they had chosen the Magdalene as the sinful Mary...assigning her the symbol of the Rose and Cross in memory of the Brotherhood of the Sun founded by Akhenaten who had taken as its symbol the Rose and Cross (Lewis). Cistercians were Rosicrucians. And this Rosicrucian order of monks would triumph in its infiltration of the Church."  - 550

 

    "In 1204, Bernard’s Cistercians founded what would later be named a Jansenist center in Port Royal near Versailles. The dark and gloomy pessimism of the Jansenist heresy, given this name later when it was developed by Janssens (d.1698) and condemned by the Church, was a precursor of Calvinism and sparked the conflict between Jansenists and Jesuits...

    "Bernard of Clairvaux had single-handedly done what the Conspiracy had attempted for centuries. He not only established the most heretical form of monasticism which spread throughout all Europe to the New World, but he infiltrated the Church at its highest level, initiated the Crusades, wrote the rule of /controlled the Templars, and, by virtue of the impact of all the above, one can attribute both Calvinism and the Reformation to Bernard of Clairvaux. One can even attribute the continuation of the mandate of Freemasonry to Bernard of Clairvaux, since the disaster he had created through the Crusades led to the arrest and execution of his no longer needed 'Templars' which, in turn, created the climate of revenge which festered through the centuries to the present age. Templars had provided the political clout and the finances that this Brotherhood needed to succeed. The New World was the product of that success. The Merovingian Cathar Brothers had scored in a major way with their monk, Bernard of Clairvaux and accordingly, they saw to it that Bernard went down in the annals of the Church in a major way." - 550

The idea of Christian Communism has been a most vigorous and generative one in all ages, and must be destined to a full development in ours.'" - 737:142

'I discovered for U Thant there was no difference between spirituality, religion and life. I studied Buddhism to understand him better.     "Furthermore, she received some of this money from the Duvaliers, and from Mr Charles Keating of the notorious Lincoln Savings and Loan of California, and both these sources had acquired the money by - how shall I put it? - borrowing money from the poor and failing to give it back." - 643

 

"London, 24 November (ENI)--The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr  George Carey, has backed a call for more Anglican monks and nuns, saying they 'witness to values which are so often scorned in our society'. He described the traditional monastic vows of poverty, chastity and obedience as 'a threefold protest against the tyranny of materialism, sexual idolatry and unbridled individualism which oppress so many today'.

    "The Anglican leader, who is the spiritual head of the Church of England and of the world-wide Anglican Communion, was addressing the church's ruling general synod on 17 November during a debate about religious communities. - 725

 

"SENIOR Church of England clergy are to join Druids and pagans at a controversial conference designed to help 'reconcile' the traditions, much to the alarm of Church leaders. The conference, Spirit of the Land 2000, is described as ‘a Christian-Druid dialogue and reconciliation meeting for the new Millennium’. It is being held against a background of growing interest in New Age religion and white magic...

"According to one of the speakers, a number of clergy already participated in joint Christian and pagan services, but there was still too much ignorance and hostility. Mark Graham, of the Pagan Federation, which represents Druidry, wicca and shamanism, said: 'Some pagans believe in magic, just like some Christians believe in the power of prayer and miracles.

"'We celebrate our connectedness to nature and I will sometimes dance naked around a fire. They aren't doing much dancing around a fire naked at matins or evensong but perhaps they should. Perhaps they will like it.'" - 271

        TRIBULATION / FIRST 3.5 YEARS

"With regard to Rev. 14:4 ('Those are they that are not defiled with women; for they are virgins') [Georg] Coeppen asserts, 'Here the new androgynous form of existence becomes visible. Christianity is neither male nor female, it is male-female in the sense that the male paired with the female in Jesus' soul. In Jesus the tension and polaristic strife of sex are resolved in an androgynous unity.  And the Church, as his heir, has taken this over from him; She too is androgynous.'" - 146:281

"Irenaeus ('Heresies'Vol. 302), Hippolytus ('De Christo et Antichristo', pp. 14,15), and other Church fathers have a tradition which can not but be of Jewish origin, that the Antichrist comes from the tribe of Dan, and base it upon Jer. VIII.16: 'The snorting of his (the enemies) his horses was heard from Dan'... Irenaeus remarks that Dan is, in view of this tradition, not in the Apocalypse (Rev.vii.5-7) among the 144,000 saved ones of the twelve tribes. Nor is the omission of Dan in I Chron. iv. et seq. unintentional... Dan became the very type of evildoing. He was placed in the north (Num.ii.25), this being the region of darkness and evil (Jer. i.14) because of his idolatry which wrapped the world in darkness (Num.ii.)" When the process of Tiqqun, or material ascension, is complete, then Messiah appears as the 37th Tsaddik.

"These 36 Tsaddiks are Perfect Heart-Masters, are physically Immortal, and are thus forever able to offer the Communion of the Grail... [T]he 36 Tsaddiks maintain the planetary grid which grounds the solar-666 force which is Christing Gaia. In Cabala, the term which describes the work of the Tsaddiks, Tiqqun, also has the value 666. Tiqqun means the translation of all matter into Union with the Immortal Frequencies of the Divine - this brings us back to our theme of Communion. For True Communion always has as its Divine Purpose the Total Transformation of Matter in a Way that Glorifies Aliveness, Liberty, Light & Love. This is forever the Work of the Heart Master.

"Each of the 36 Tsaddik Heart Masters is responsible for giving Immortal Grail Communion to 4000 individuals. This is how the number 144,000 is generated out of the Heart, for 36 × 4000 = 144,000. This number has been associated with the planetary changes initiated by Harmonic Convergence in August of 1987. To fulfill the prophecy of Annalee Skarin, we are now in the process of creating over a hundredfold increase in Immortals on the earth.

"At the present time the original 36 Heart Masters are focused in 12 groups of 3, each triune group acting as midwife at each of the 12 primary Gates of the New Jerusalem - 12 specific sacred sites which are giving birth to the New Aeon. One Child is emerging from 12 wombs... When this 12-womb birth is manifested and rooted, then the 36 Tsaddiks shift locations so that there is one Tsaddik at each of 36 distinct sacred sites. Within the next 30 to 40 years each Tsaddik shall have initiated a minimum of 4000 individuals into Mastery of the Way of Everlasting Life - Physical Immortality. The 144,000 are all now alive, incarnate. Rituals conducted in the Andes - at Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu - on the Wesak Full Moon in May 1987 were specifically dedicated to Blessing the Birth of these 144,000." - 690

BISHOP KALLISTOS (TIMOTHY) WARE

 

Kallistos Ware is a monk of the Monastery of St John on Patmos Island, a Bishop of the gnostic Eastern Orthodox Church and the "foremost authority on Orthodoxy".  Formerly an Anglican theologian but presently a lecturer at Oxford University (of Druid origin), Kallistos Timothy Ware is a major figure in the interfaith / ecumenical movement.  He has shared platforms with the Dalai Lama (Buddhist High Priest), Benedictine Dom Laurence Freeman of the John Main Institute, J.I. Packer and Richard Neuhaus (authors of the ECT Document), Harold O.J. Brown and other Catholic and Evangelical priests and apologists. Kallistos Ware is a member of the Merovingian Vere bloodline.

    "Consecrated Bishop of Diokleia in 1982, Bishop Kallistos is well known for his popular books about Eastern Orthodox faith and practice and has been hailed as 'perhaps the 20th century's foremost authority on Orthodoxy' by the Russian Orthodox press. Bishop Kallistos serves in the diocese of Thyatira of the Patriarchate of Constantinople.

    "Bishop Kallistos Ware is a resident of Oxford, England. A British native, he left the Anglican Church and converted to Greek Orthodoxy in 1958. Timothy Ware's first contact with Orthodoxy was as a 17- year-old who 'by chance or divine providence' attended an Orthodox vigil service already in progress and immediately felt a sense of 'belonging' although he could not understand the language. He was ordained to the priesthood at age 32 and took monastic vows at St. John the Theologian monastery on the Greek island of Patmos.

    "Before retiring last year, His Grace was the Spalding Lecturer in Eastern Orthodox Studies at the University of Oxford, where he had completed his own studies in Greek and Latin. His Grace also was a fellow of Pembroke College at Oxford. Derived from Greek kallistos meaning "most beautiful". In Greek mythology Kallisto was a nymph who was loved by Zeus. She was changed into a she-bear by Hera, and subsequently became the Great Bear constellation. This was also an ancient Greek personal name. - 665

"In Greek mythology Callisto, daughter of King Lycaon (wolf), was chosen as a young child to be one of Artemis's companions. Now Artemis was Apollo's sister, patroness of childbirth and protector of babies and of suckling animals. The one thing she prized above all was her chastity; she even asked Zeus for eternal virginity, which he granted.

"Artemis gathered about her a number of young nymphs. Reflecting her own vows of chastity, she also required complete fidelity from these young women (girls actually, who would grow into womanhood). One of these was Callisto.

It was said that Dardanus was the son of Zeus. Dardanus had a son named Erichthonius, who had a son named Tros, who was the namesake of the ancient Trojans and of their capital city, Troy.

"Tros had three sons, Ilus, Ganymede, and Assaracus. Priam, the reigning king of the Trojans, was of the line of Ilus. Aeneas, founder of the Roman Empire, as a prince of the royal house of Assaracus. Ganymede was the great-grandson of Dardanus, the founder of Troy. According to Homer's ILIAD (Book V), 4. Zeus kidnapped the prince, Ganymede. Zeus wanted Ganymede to be a special cup-bearer to the gods (which may be a clue to the origin of the legend of the so-called Holy Grail).

"The ILIAD does not relate how Zeus carried off Ganymede, but there is an ancient Roman mosaic showing Ganymede, the Trojan prince, being carried off by Zeus, who had taken the form of an eagle! Here is a possible clue to connect the progenitors of the ancient Trojans with the tribe of Dan, who had adopted the eagle as their insignia." - 127:103
