Given the liberalism of both Russell Moore and Rosaria Butterfield, we must inquire if there is a more sinister agenda behind setting up church adoption services? Moore mentioned one possibility in his book, but feigned ignorance of the full story and the fact that the “self-professed evangelicals” were Southern Baptists:
“On the Left, there emerged a critique of the ‘evangelical adoption movement’ in often darkly conspiratorial terms. One charge was that we were ‘child catchers,’ empowering human trafficking. Are there self-professed evangelicals who empower human trafficking? Yes. One group, for instance, allegedly smuggled a group of children from Haiti to the Dominican Republic. I don’t know the full story there, but whatever it was, it wasn’t what any of us were calling for. Such groups were roundly rebuked by leaders across the board in the orphan care movement.” (Adopted for Life, p. 226)
The following article reveals that the incident of Southern Baptist “missionaries” attempting to illegally transport 33 children out of Haiti after the 2010 earthquake was the crime that launched the federal investigation of Hillary Clinton’s e-mails and her involvement in child trafficking.
“The Clinton-Silsby Trafficking Scandal And How The Media Attempted To Ignore/Cover It Up”
“Contrary to reports in the media, the crowd sourced investigation labeled by some as ‘Pizzagate’ did not begin with internet sleuths digging through the Wikileaks Podesta Files releases looking for pizza parlors and encoded language discussing human trafficking. It began with the shocking discovery that Hillary and Bill Clinton provided assistance to convicted child trafficker, Laura Silsby, resulting in a reduced sentence for child trafficking.
“Silsby was arrested at the Haitian border attempting to smuggle 33 children out of Haiti without documentation. Her sentence and charges were reduced after an intervention by Bill Clinton. In the aftermath of Silsby’s arrest, her originally retained lawyer Jorge Puello was arrested in connection with an international smuggling ring accused of trafficking women and minors from Central America and Haiti. The revelation of this news in November was either ignored by the Western media or attacked by Clinton controlled publications.
“Laura Silsby is the former director of The New Life Children’s Refuge. Emails from her organization can be found in Wikileaks’ Hillary Clinton Email Archive discussing the NGO before her arrest. Silsby’s organization also appears in Clinton’s emails, soliciting donations for their ‘ministry.’ The Refuge was founded by Silsby and Charisa Coulter, both attendees of the Central Valley Baptist Church in Meridian, Idaho. Silsby was reported to have a history of bad debts and unpaid wages.” (ZeroHedge)
“The Wikileaks from Silsby definitely suggest a pedophile ring. She mentions only babies till 12 years old (cut off for puberty) in her emails. Had they really just been victims of orphanages, the age range would have varied from babies to 18 years. But she specifically targeted babies to 12 year olds.”
The leaders of the New Life Children’s Refuge were members of the SBC Central Valley Baptist Church in Boise, Idaho. A nearby SBC church was also involved in the operation:
New Life Children’s Refuge case
“The New Life Children’s Refuge (NLCR) was founded in November 2009 by Laura Silsby (now Silsby-Gayler) and Charisa Coulter, who are both members of the Central Valley Baptist Church in Meridian, Idaho. The organization described itself as a ‘non‐profit Christian ministry dedicated to rescuing, loving and caring for orphaned, abandoned and impoverished Haitian and Dominican children, demonstrating God’s love and helping each child find healing, hope, joy and new life in Christ.’ The charity claimed to be in the process of acquiring land to build an orphanage as well as a church and school in Magante on the Northern coast of the Dominican Republic. NLCR further intended to provide adoption opportunities for American ‘loving Christian parents”.
On January 12, 2010, Haiti was struck by a major earthquake and NLCR quickly formed the ‘Haitian Orphan Rescue Mission’, a group of ten people from the Central Valley Baptist Church and the East Side Baptist Church in Twin Falls, Idaho. Both churches are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The mission’s plan was to go to Haiti and bring a hundred orphans to Cabarete, Dominican Republic, where NLCR had leased a hotel to serve as a temporary orphanage.”
As quoted above, Russell Moore mentioned the Haiti incident in his book but professed ignorance of the full story.

Surely ERLC president, Russell Moore knew the full story when he wrote his book on adoption in 2015. And this Southern Baptist group that “empowered child trafficking” was not “roundly rebuked” by the Southern Baptist Convention. Moore’s predecessor at the ERLC, Richard Land, issued a denial a mere two days after the SBC group was charged by the Haitian government. Dr. Land, who is a member of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations, misnamed the Haitian charges “kidnapping and criminal association,” however a Clinton e-mail identified the charges as “child abduction and criminal conspiracy.”
Two days after the charges were made, before there was a full investigation of the case, Richard Land urged SBC members to ask Congress and Pres. Obama to demand the release of the child abductors. Not only did Dr. Land presume the innocence of the Southern Baptists who illegally abducted 33 children, he excused their violation of the law and ordered no independent investigation by the ERLC, even though one of the ERLC’s “ministries” is “legislative advocacy” including the “Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000 (TVPA).”
As a result of the intervention of Bill and Hilary Clinton, all 10 Southern Baptists arrested were released. The SBC’s reputation was also spared courtesy of the U.S. media which misidentified the child abductors as “American Baptists.”
The SBC New Life Children’s Refuge was a NGO of the United Nations. The SBC’s ERLC is also a NGO of the United Nations. A decade ago, the Southern Baptist Convention was an NGO of the UN. And for at least that long, the UN has been involved in child trafficking in Haiti and worldwide.

“An Associated Press investigation of U.N. missions during the past 12 years found nearly 2,000 allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation by peacekeepers and other personnel around the world — signaling the crisis is much larger than previously known. More than 300 of the allegations involved children, the AP found, but only a fraction of the alleged perpetrators served jail time.
“Legally, the U.N. is in a bind. It has no jurisdiction over peacekeepers, leaving punishment to the countries that contribute the troops.
“The AP interviewed alleged victims, current and former U.N. officials and investigators and sought answers from 23 countries on the number of peacekeepers who faced such allegations and, what if anything, was done to investigate. With rare exceptions, few nations responded to repeated requests, while the names of those found guilty are kept confidential, making accountability impossible to determine.”

The following document was read into the Congressional Record following its publication in the February 15-21, 1987 issue of “Gay Community News.” The Gay community now avers that its threats were only satire, however, its sinister declarations are coming to pass with stunning success in 2017. We ignore at our peril this demonically-inspired manifesto of the homosexual intelligentsia—who self-identify as “the natural aristocrats of the human race.”
“This essay is an outré [outrage], madness, a tragic, cruel fantasy, an eruption of inner rage, on how the oppressed desperately dream of being the oppressor.
“We shall sodomize your sons, emblems of your feeble masculinity, of your shallow dreams and vulgar lies. We shall seduce them in your schools, in your dormitories, in your gymnasiums, in your locker rooms, in your sports arenas, in your seminaries, in your youth groups, in your movie theater bathrooms, in your army bunkhouses, in your truck stops, in your all male clubs, in your houses of Congress, wherever men are with men together. Your sons shall become our minions and do our bidding. They will be recast in our image. They will come to crave and adore us.
“Women, you cry for freedom. You say you are no longer satisfied with men; they make you unhappy. We, connoisseurs of the masculine face, the masculine physique, shall take your men from you then. We will amuse them; we will instruct them; we will embrace them when they weep. Women, you say you wish to live with each other instead of with men. Then go and be with each other.
“We shall give your men pleasures they have never known because we are foremost men too, and only one man knows how to truly please another man; only one man can understand the depth and feeling, the mind and body of another man.
“All laws banning homosexual activity will be revoked. Instead, legislation shall be passed which engenders love between men.
“All homosexuals must stand together as brothers; we must be united artistically, philosophically, socially, politically and financially. We will triumph only when we present a common face to the vicious heterosexual enemy.
“If you dare to cry faggot, fairy, queer, at us, we will stab you in your cowardly hearts and defile your dead, puny bodies.
“We shall write poems of the love between men; we shall stage plays in which man openly caresses man; we shall make films about the love between heroic men which will replace the cheap, superficial, sentimental, insipid, juvenile, heterosexual infatuations presently dominating your cinema screens. We shall sculpt statues of beautiful young men, of bold athletes which will be placed in your parks, your squares, your plazas. The museums of the world will be filled only with paintings of graceful, naked lads.
“Our writers and artists will make love between men fashionable and de rigueur, and we will succeed because we are adept at setting styles. We will eliminate heterosexual liaisons through usage of the devices of wit and ridicule, devices which we are skilled in employing.
“We will unmask the powerful homosexuals who masquerade as heterosexuals. You will be shocked and frightened when you find that your presidents and their sons, your industrialists, your senators, your mayors, your generals, your athletes, your film stars, your television personalities, your civic leaders, your priests are not the safe, familiar, bourgeois, heterosexual figures you assumed them to be. We are everywhere; we have infiltrated your ranks. Be careful when you speak of homosexuals because we are always among you; we may be sitting across the desk from you; we may be sleeping in the same bed with you.
“There will be no compromises. We are not middle-class weaklings. Highly intelligent, we are the natural aristocrats of the human race, and steely-minded aristocrats never settle for less. Those who oppose us will be exiled.
“We shall raise vast private armies, as Mishima did, to defeat you. We shall conquer the world because warriors inspired by and banded together by homosexual love and honor are invincible as were the ancient Greek soldiers.
“The family unit-spawning ground of lies, betrayals, mediocrity, hypocrisy and violence–will be abolished. The family unit, which only dampens imagination and curbs free will, must be eliminated. Perfect boys will be conceived and grown in the genetic laboratory. They will be bonded together in communal setting, under the control and instruction of homosexual savants.
“All churches who condemn us will be closed. Our only gods are handsome young men. We adhere to a cult of beauty, moral and esthetic. All that is ugly and vulgar and banal will be annihilated. Since we are alienated from middle-class heterosexual conventions, we are free to live our lives according to the dictates of the pure imagination. For us too much is not enough.

“The exquisite society to emerge will be governed by an elite comprised of gay poets. One of the major requirements for a position of power in the new society of homoeroticism will be indulgence in the Greek passion. Any man contaminated with heterosexual lust will be automatically barred from a position of influence. All males who insist on remaining stupidly heterosexual will be tried in homosexual courts of justice and will become invisible men.

“We shall be victorious because we are fueled with the ferocious bitterness of the oppressed who have been forced to play seemingly bit parts in your dumb, heterosexual shows throughout the ages. We too are capable of firing guns and manning the barricades of the ultimate revolution.
“Tremble, hetero swine, when we appear before you without our masks.”
The Gay Manifesto was published in 1987, eight years after the death of the cultural Marxist, Herbert Marcuse, who advocated for pedophilia, and thirty years after Wilhelm Reich, who ran an Infant Research Center in his basement where therapists sexually abused children.
“Inspirers of the sexual revolution, such as Wilhem Reich and Herbert Marcuse, has shown interest for minors’ sexuality and cross-generational relations. …Reich …decisively contributed to the study of children’s sexuality. Marcuse claimed that ‘perversions’ had to play a specific role in the path from capitalistic sexual repression towards the achievement of polymorphous sexuality. Furthermore… perversions included pedophilia in Marcuse’s thinking and were conceived as ‘a revolt against the procreative norm, pointing to a fuller meaning of Eros, where the drive towards life represented the realization of the full possibilities of the body.’” (Sexual Revolutions, “Pedophilia, Homosexuality and Gay and Lesbian Activism, p. 267)
The legalization of pedophilia and pederasty in America may sound inconceivable, but check out this interview of former U.S. House Minority Leader, Tom DeLay on 12 perversions the Justice Department wanted to legalize in 2015. Also, an article by Stella Morabito who identifies the multitude of sexual perversions the radical Left is working to legalize, including the most menacing:
“Pedophila. Academic articles from gender and queer theory are pushing the envelope and cultivating the ground for social acceptance of pedophilia. The British are debating about classifying it as another ‘sexual orientation.’ Lowering the age of consent is high on the agenda, under cover of ‘liberating’ the sexuality of the child.”
Desensitizing Christians to the abominations of pedophilia and pederasty is not the sole province of the radical Left but a joint effort with pseudo-conservatives, such as former Breitbart editor, Milo Yiannopoulos, and conservative talk show host, Dennis Prager. In the following interview of Dennis Prager by homosexual Dave Rubin, starting at the 1:07:00 point, Prager is talking about homosexuality and bisexuality being normal in the Gentile world before Israel came on the scene. Then Prager says,
“The Bible said, ‘Men, you are as happy with boys—I don’t mean 8 year olds but 15 year olds—as a grown man is happy with a 15 year old girl.’ That is, homosexuals and heterosexuals are identical. ‘But, we are telling you, the Bible is telling you, ‘No, confine your sexuality to your wife.’ The Bible eroticized marriage.”
Dennis Prager had stated previously that he is very careful about how he speaks and that in 33 years of live radio he has never been caught saying something that could “hang him.” So he did not “misspeak” but meant what he said about the Bible allowing pederasty. He also stated he is Jewish, as is Dave Rubin, who subsequently admitted doing a “Talmudic trick” to justify his disobedience to Leviticus 18:22: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” The Bible does not permit homosexuality or pederasty, but the Talmud does. In fact, this depraved work gives detailed instructions to Jews who want to molest boys and girls as young as 3 years old.
Recalling Charles Crawford’s maxim, “If one has a bad cause to defend, let him put his thoughts into a dialogue,” Prager and Rubin have a bad cause to defend —“desensitizing” Christians to the abominations of homosexuality, pedophilia and pederasty. Prager said that the Bible permits adult male sex with boys but never corrected this false statement, leaving his audience in a quandary as to his moral position. Only Jews would understand that Prager and Rubin had used a “Talmudic trick” – a verbal sleight of hand to subtly promote their bad cause. Talmudic tricks are justified in the Jewish mind because Orthodox Judaism teaches that the Talmud is the Word of God.
A book which followed on the heels of the “Gay Manifesto” delineated a three-point strategy for gay activists to vilify Christians who oppose homosexuality and lesbianism based on the Biblical prohibitions. After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90's is exposed by Mathew Staver in his 2004 book, Same-Sex Marriage: Putting Every Household at Risk.
Chapter 4: Desensitization to Conversion
“Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen articulated an elaborate strategy for achieving acceptance of homosexuality and ultimately of entirely transforming marriage and the traditional family. Being homosexuals themselves, Kirk and Madsen wrote a book entitled After the Ball, which has become the ‘guiding manifesto’ for ‘pragmatic gay activism.’…
“In order to achieve acceptability of gays and lesbians, Kirk and Madsen declare what has become obvious to anyone who has encountered the same-sex movement, namely, for the gay agenda to achieve success, homosexuals need to be portrayed as ‘victims,’ and those who oppose them must be vilified. ‘In any campaign to win over the public, gays must be portrayed as victims in need of protection so that straights will be inclined by reflex to adopt the role of protector.’ Ads should feature gays as ‘wholesome and admirable.’ ‘It makes no difference that the ads are lies; not to us, because we’re using them to good effect.’ The media must be used to ‘desensitize straights to gays and gayness.’
“The objective of vilifying those who oppose homosexuality is to make them look ‘so nasty that the average American will want to dissociate themselves from them.’ ‘We also intend, by this tactic, to make the very expression of homohatred so discreditable that even intransigents will eventually be silenced in public—much as rabid racists and anti-Semites are today… Those who oppose homosexuality, they say, should be compared to the ‘Klansmen demanding that gays be slaughtered or castrated,’ ‘hysterical backwoods preachers, drooling with hate to a degree that looks both comical and deranged,’ ‘menacing punks, thugs, and convicts that speak cooly about the ‘fags’ they have bashed or would like to bash,’ and to ‘Nazis.’ Kirk and Madsen to on to say that ‘gays can undermine the moral authority of homohating churches over less fervent adherents by portraying such institutions as antiquated backwaters, badly out of step with the times and with the latest findings of psychology.’” (pp. 48-49)
Having vilified Christians and neutralized their opposition to the LGBT agenda, the authors of After the Ball advised gay activists on how to manipulate Americans to affirm homosexuality.
“Kirk and Madsen set forth a media propaganda campaign that is designed to follow three stages, which they call desensitization, jamming, and conversion. The theory behind the desensitization phase is that ‘novelties cease to be novel if they just stick around long enough; they also cease to activate alerting mechanisms.’ This phase of the campaign is designed ‘to desensitize straights to gays and gayness, inundate them in a continuous flood of gay-related advertising, presented in the least offensive fashion possible. If straights can’t shut off the shower, they may at least eventually get used to being wet.’
“The next phase in the quest to move from desensitization to conversion involves jamming. ‘As the name implies, Jamming involves the insertion into the engine of a pre-existing, incompatible emotional response, gridlocking its mechanism as thoroughly as though one had sprinkled fine sand into the workings of an old-fashioned pocket watch.’ Jamming uses a psychological process known as associative conditioning (when two feelings are juxtaposed—one good and one bad or indifferent—in order to transfer the one feeling over and in place of the other) and direct emotional modeling (the tendency to feel what you perceive others are feeling). The goal here is to make those who oppose homosexuality feel shame, and thus the same-sex marriage movement will link repugnant images to those who oppose this agenda. These images include being labeled a bigot, being filled with hate, and being perceived with respect to homosexuality like the Klu Klux Klan is to African Americans.” (p. 49)
In the strategy set forth in After the Ball, the last phase is “conversion” from the traditional values of Americans to total acceptance of homosexuality and, eventually, whatever sexual perversion one chooses…the sky is the limit once desensitization is achieved:
“The ‘desensitization’ and ‘jamming’ phases are part of a strategy leading up to what Kirk and Madsen call ‘conversion.’
‘By Conversion, we actually mean something far more profoundly threatening to the American Way of Life, without which no truly sweeping social change can occur. We mean conversion of the average American’s emotions, mind, and will, through a planned psychological attack, in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media. We mean ‘subverting’ the mechanism of prejudice to our own ends—using the very processes that made Americans hate us to turn their hatred into warm regard—whether they like it or not.’
“The authors’ objective is to portray an image of homosexuals as normal, but they do not intend permanently to dissociate themselves from the more bizarre elements of the homosexual community:
‘Our ultimate objective is to expand straight tolerance so much that even gays who look unconventional can feel safe and accepted. But like it or not, by the very nature of the psychological mechanism, desensitization works gradually or not at all. For the moment, therefore, unconventional-looking gays are encouraged to live their lives as usual, but out of the limelight. Drag queens must understand that the gay stereotype is already heavily skewed in their direction, and that more balance should be achieved by leaning in the opposite direction for a while. In time, as hostilities subside and stereotypes weaken, we see no reason why more and more diversity should not be introduced into the projected image. This would be healthy for society as well as for gays.’
“The homosexual propaganda campaign begins with an attempt to fool the general public into thinking that there is no difference between heterosexuals and homosexuals, and then once accepted, to push for expanded protection for an assortment of sexual paraphilias.
‘First, you get your foot in the door, by being as similar as possible; then, and only then—when your one little difference is finally accepted—can you start dragging in your other peculiarities, one by one. Allow the camel’s nose beneath your tent, and his whole body will soon follow.’
“Although written in 1987 as a satirical piece to mock religious foes of homosexuality, the Homosexual Manifesto is at the same time shocking in its assertions while revealing its similarities to the political agenda advanced today by same-sex marriage advocates.
‘We shall sodomize your sons, emblems of your feeble masculinity, of your shallow dreams and vulgar lies. We shall seduce them in your schools… in your seminaries, in your youth groups, in your movie theater bathrooms…in your houses of Congress, wherever men are with men together… All laws banning homosexual activity will be revoked. Instead, legislation shall be passed which engenders love between men… There will be no compromises. Mathew Staver wrote his book, Same-Sex Marriage: Putting Every Household at Risk, in 2004. All of the following agendas he predicted are currently either in the news or in the works behind the scenes:
“The media propaganda is not the only assault being waged by the same-sex marriage movement. Legal and legislative battles include (1) lowering the age of consent to permit sex between adults and minors, (2) silencing opposition to the homosexual agenda though the passage of hate crimes laws, diversity training programs, gay tolerance codes, and mandatory counseling, (3) passing ‘sexual orientation,’ ‘gender identity’ or ‘gender expression laws,’ (4) passing domestic partnership laws and forcing employers that contract with government entities to enact such laws no matter where the employer is located, (5) invalidating laws prohibiting adoption by same-sex couples, (6) passing laws allowing transsexuals to change their sex designated on their birth certificates, (7) abolishing gender and thus making the sex of male and female irrelevant, and (8) challenging state and federal laws which ban same-sex marriage.
“It takes no stretch of the imagination to envision the consequences stemming from extending legally protected rights to engage in any private consensual same-sex activity. Incremental extension of rights and benefits of those engaged in homosexual conduct lead to results that are far-reaching and disastrous.” (pp. 50-51)

The group agreed to the development and use of a “Civilitas Theory of Social Change” by the sociology departments of Princeton, Yale and the University of Virginia’s Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture. The IASC boasts that its intellectual inspiration was from the Marxist Frankfurt Institute of Social Research.
